Nick Cherrier
Monetisation expert with over 12 years’ experience across strategy, marketing, and pricing. Nick has acted as both consultant and advisor to global brands across many sectors and geographies, accompanying them in their journey to launch and monetise new offerings in a sustainable and profitable way.
Former APAC Chair for the Subscribed Institute at Zuora, a think tank for the Subscription Economy, he has advised Zuora’s key accounts on subscription strategy as part of the Subscribed Strategy Group.
Prior to Zuora, Nick led the commercial offering of News Corp Australia’s digital advertising. During his tenure, he built centralised pricing capabilities across print and digital advertising and transformed the ad product catalogue and go-to market approach. He was responsible for digital ad revenue growth and commercial intelligence, delivering double-digit growth in a declining market.
He started his career with world leading pricing strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners, based in London, conducting projects across Europe and the Americas in B2B and B2C. He has advised companies across legal services, energy, industrials and luxury goods.
Nick holds a MSc in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, a Master of European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris, a Master of International Diplomacy, as well as a Bachelor of International Business and a Bachelor of International Relations from Bond University.
He has published several articles on pricing, subscriptions and game theory.
